THE JUNIOR TOUR ACADEMY
The Junior Tour Academy at Harbor Links is designed to promote the development of serious junior golfers to their maximum potential, in golf and in life. Under the guidance of JAMES HONG, one of America's Top 50 Junior Golf Teachers and a Titleist Performance Institute certified golf instructor, junior golfers experience what it is like to be treated as a 'Tour Professional' in terms of golf instruction, individual club fitting, fitness and core development, nutrition, and mental outlook. Unlike other "elite" programs where one is part of a 'stable' of players, our Academy treats each junior as though the entire program has been designed for his or her benefit. We incorporate the Titleist Performance Institute's program of junior development within our system.
Our students have received golf scholarships and opportunities to play college golf at such institutions as Columbia University/Barnard College, Lehigh University, Wake Forest University, Georgetown University, Fairfield University, Holy Cross University, Boston College, Boston University, Cornell University, University of Notre Dame, St. John's University, University of Michigan, West Point Military Academy, Adelphi University, North Carolina University, Princeton University, Dartmouth College, Vanderbilt University.
1-&-1/2 hour private lesson: $140
One hour is devoted to private golf instruction, including high speed digital video swing analysis through the V1 Professional system, Vector Launch Monitor, and Tomi Pure Putting software system.
A half hour is devoted to either fitness/core development, nutrition concerns, sports psychology/course management, or clubfitting.
SUMMER PROGRAM
Due to the individual nature of the instruction programs, limited to only 12 students.
Sunday: Orientation
Monday - Friday:
9:00 am to 1:00 pm Practice/Play
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Lunch
2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Practice/Instruction/Play
Includes:
- daily instruction & practice;
- unlimited practice balls during the program time;
- all greens fees;
- daily snacks & lunch:
- unlimited bottled water, Gatorade.
$650 for 1 week
$4000 entire summer of 9 weeks (June 28-August 31)
Weekly payment plan is also available if committing to 9-week program.
You have the option to try the program for 1 week, and then join for the rest of the summer; just pay the balance due.
